Triangle Pt 4/6 Check out the last two instructionals for this pose. #trikonasana balancing hamstring and hip mobility, sooo much happening in the spine in a slight lumbar-sacral forward bend (hopefully), lateral flexion (sidebend), twist and thoracic backbend. So that's mobilising the spine, working the core and massaging the internal organs. More benefit than the satisfaction of holding your big toe, though that's a valid approach to this pose, it's not the greatest benefit to be had. I love looking into and feeling the depth of these poses and what I've learnt about implementation of #Bandha in the last 8 months of practicing @yoga_synergy has led to a total overhaul of all round posture, helping me to find balance in strength and flexibility like never before in years of practicing other yoga methods. Incidentally, this appriach isn't said to be a new style of yoga per say, but classical yoga adapted for the modern body. I'll be teaching it: 2nd Jan Weds 7:30-8:30am @hopestudiosmcr 2nd Jan Weds 6:30-8pm @levyoldlibrary 3rd Jan Thurs 12:15-1pm @nicolacharnock Happy Christmas Eve! Enjoy a festive triangle on me 😂🙏
