Xmas HOLIDAY UPDATES Last class Dec 18th ’25 then returning on the 8th Jan ’26

Spinal movement focussed, therapeutic partly chair based sessions at the Monastery
A building with a history of compassion, benevolence & social care. Everybody is welcome and these sessions will be particularly beneficial for older people or those in rehabilitation.
Stef teaches effectively to every person no matter their experience/condition.
To some, this style bears a passing resemblance to tai chi becoming a real moving meditation while supporting muscles and joints for any body, any experience.
The emphasis on these practices isn’t extraordinary flexibility or alignment, but internal awareness cultivation and spinal decompression through various guided internal movement activations. Essentially, we practice lengthening our own spines through gentle movement in multiple planes and dimensions.
Mats & chairs provided, wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing.
Please inform beforehand of any special conditions (no one turned away, this class is beneficial for those looking to care for current spinal conditions, but is highly effective for maintaining current spinal health). Enquire beforehand for your suitability and needs.
Stef hosts workshops and trains new teachers for Yoga Alliance courses and has studied for over 1000 hours with leading senior yoga teachers such as Lesley Kaminoff (author of best selling Yoga Anatomy), Yoga Synergy coFounder and Director, Simon Borg Olivier MScBAppSc(Physiotherapy).
There are a number of free places available for those in financial need, please enquire on arrival, you won’t be turned away without a practice no matter what.
