Synergy is an approach to yoga postures which builds energy rather than expends it. It is possible to increase energy and physicality at the same time.
Too often people trade off holistic health healing for training ‘muscles and fat’ but you can have the best of both at the same time with Synergy principals.
We focus on internal alignment guided by sensation rather than external measures of postural “correctness”, alignment when effective encourages energetic actions, in synergy we cut straight to the energetic actions.
Simply, it encourages us to understand spinal movements in posture which can be otherwise commonly overlooked.
If we utilise these principals in a practice you will experience first hand the effect of increased energy and vitality and be able to bring one or two of these effects into your regular practice.
